Justin White is a bunny shifter who literally runs into Benji Holland (who made his debut in the first book, as Peter's best friend) while Benji is hunting down a rogue werewolf. Benji isn't completely sure if Justin (who is in rabbit form) is an actual bunny or a shifter, he takes him back with him to Chicago. Benji figures that he'll send Justin back to his warren, but Justin is determined that he'll never return.
There's a bit of mpreg for those who are fans of it. I'm not, but it doesn't play a huge role in the story, so I didn't really care either way.
I do feel like Benji and Justin fell into instalove.
Altogether, this was a worthy sequel to the first novella, and I will definitely read more in this series if/when it continues. ( )
