Little Leaders: Bold Women in Black History (edição 2017)

I have this book in hardcover and keep it away from my grandkids unless I can supervise.
My granddaughter thinks every single picture in the book is here.
That's my favorite part.
I don't read it all at once but a biography at a time.
It's a bit over the head of a 3 & 4 yr old but they'll love it when they're older.
The illustrations are gorgeous
I love the history focusing on Black Woman.
I plan to get the one on Black Men as well.

I enjoyed this book because some of the people I had never heard of so it was interesting to read about them. I can use this book during black history month for my social studies class! ( )

This book is about different women in black history. It gives a little background information on each woman and explains what they did in that time period. This book is very inspirational and I think that it is a great book to display in a classroom for students to read. I feel like this book makes african american females feel important and bold when they read this because this is their people. ( )

This is an amazing, powerful, and very well illustrated/designed book. It talks about 40 strong historic women, and gives a little insight of what they did and who they were. The book is a very easy read and each section (1 page)consists of one of the women. Because of the books layout, it could easily be brought into multiple lessons in history when learning about one of these brave woman. ( )
