I received a free copy of this for an honestly review. I started this book and wanted to like the Hope, but just felt like I couldn't relate to her. I had a hard time being pulled in to the story. I found myself picking it up and putting it down quite a few times. ( )Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. I received a free copy of this via Library Thing. The main female character was okay, but I felt that the plot was full of holes, and the romance between the two main characters was not believable. Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. I received this book as an ARC. I really enjoyed the story and look forward to continuing the series. The story wasn't overly descriptive on sex scenes. There was only one descriptive sex scene. There wasn't any bad language. For the most part this was a clean read. The story was interesting and well written. I was able to feel like I was seeing the story and not just reading it. Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. I enjoyed the story overall. I couldn't relate to Hope, the main character, with her issues and why she acted the way she did a lot of the times. The romance part seemed very juvenile and I felt as though I was reading a young adult romance and/or a first time writer. The love scenes were VERY "G" rated (not looking for porn, but maybe "PG-13" or "R"?) and the prince seemed to be very cowardice. The minor characters were SUPER minor and VERY underdeveloped - they seemed very much an after thought or a necessary for the story, but overall unnecessary "footbridge" for gaps.*I won an early copy for an honest review sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Hope Kennard left Hasebury Hall-her ancestral home in Wiltshire-to travel the world in search of new and exciting adventures. Freedom suits her, right up until she ends up in the sunkissed island principality of San Michele and meets mysterious forest ranger Jonas Reval. He's as secretive as she is skittish, but he's also everything she's ever wanted in a man. Jonas knows all about duty and the burdens of marrying to meet family expectations. But he can be himself around Hope, and he sets about wooing her without taking advantage of all the considerable resources at his disposal. It's just him and her. And what's more, it works-right up until Hope discovers that one pesky little detail he's sort of forgotten to mention. He isn't just a part-time forest ranger and integral member of the family law firm. He's charming, lying Prince Jonas Reval of San Michele. And the fantasy Hope's been spinning comes tumbling down.
