I was surprised how this story stayed with me for days; a powerful combination of graphics and minimal text. Contains 2 stories. The first was actually too gory for my preference. The second made me feel very sympathetic to Carrie.
The US Marshall assigned to Antarctica would really like to get back to green landscapes, but her knowledge of surviving in the polar conditions makes her valuable where she is assigned.
The first story deals with murder, the second with the theft of illegal Russian nuclear missiles.
I did notice, however, that the artist often portrayed characters outdoors without a hat, maybe with unzipped coats. I guess the different characters would be more indistinguishable in proper cold weather gear.
