Rabbit sees bird flying in the sky and decides he wants to fly too. Bird comes down and tries various things to help rabbit, but nothing works. What rabbit doesn't realize is that while he wants to fly like bird, bird wonders how he runs so fast. This book demonstrates that it is okay to dream, it is great to have friends that will help you try to achieve those dreams, but that it is important to recognize our own gifts and talents and to use them to achieve things. The watercolour illustrations in this book are gorgeous and the colours amazing. I enjoyed looking at them as much as reading the book. A great book for a classroom teaching about recognizing and accepting our gifts and talents. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via netgalley. ( )
