Melissa comes back into Diego's life and both have memories they want to forget of their time together but the past is not easily forgotten nor put behind them. They have to work out their past and try to forge a future together.

I liked these characters. Diego is reserved and cold at times. Melissa is innocent when they meet. She learns how quickly things can change. She has also lived some tough times since she left Diego. She is stronger for it. I like how she is now able to stand up to him. She has him confused and that is good.

I liked this series. I've always enjoyed Diana Palmer's stories. ( )
