The first story, a period piece from the early 20th Century, was quite a good story about a man trying to work out what has happened to him and why. He wakes up in a storm drain and can't understand why he's alive. Over time he discovers that he's in fact a vampire and he has to find out where he fits in vampire society.

The second is another period piece, featuring Elliot Ness and links to some true-life murders and really didn't appeal to me as much as the first.

Overall not bad but not great either. (
