Distribution maps for the mammals, and birds, and then the plants of use to the animals, followed by distribution maps of weeds and cultivated plants. Short shrift is given to the fish, reptiles and amphibians. Lots of reference, but all, of course, to early 20th Century studies. This book was put together by a trio of federal workers. It was, at the time, the best, most extensive treatment of what plants American birds and animals ate. The book is written in three parts, a series of introductions to the topics, what birds and animals eat, treated in sub-groups, and plants usefull to wildlife. The book contains range maps for each species covered. There is a bar graph of some species abundance changes that is now out of date. But most of the book is not dated o still a good source of information. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
