I'm not sure exactly what it was, but, it was definitely something. In all seriousness, this had so many sorta new things that were being added to the DC Universe that I was a little overwhelmed by it all. Lex is much more Lex in this TPB than he's been in a while. The Justice League is back to mostly most of its core members as well. J'onn is back too, which made me go, woo! And so is John Stewart, which is the best news of all. And, he gets a heck of a story too. It was a story that kept me guessing for sure, and I guess it could definitely go some interesting places next. I wasn't bored I know that. I received this book via Netgalley thanks to DC Entertainment. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Most of the dialog is exposition, because the story is convoluted and incomprehensible. Frequently, I'd read a page and pause to think "There is no one who could make that page make sense.".
If this is Snyder's writing style, I'm going to have to pass on him from now on. It's a damn shame, because this book had some of the best art in the whole industry built into it.
Comics artwork should carry at least *some* of the weight in the storytelling duties. It didn't happen here. In fact - the storytelling appeared to be all seasoning, and no meat. ( )
