Okay book, a couple of good points. This book is the same as "The Rules of Money." ( )

In the vein of many self help books, this one takes the form of a list of 100 points (or Rules as the author refers to them as). Each Rule is in essence a chapter that spans two to three pages and thus makes this book very easy to read (and no doubt, very easy to write :-). While I've read a number of "guide to getting rich" type books I think this one is most probably the most forth right one in terms of what it offers you (Rule 61 - There are no secrets) and finds it's own niche between the "nostalgic reminising" (on the part of the author) type books and the "death by statistics" (on the part of the reader) type books. While not every chapter will prove to be of interest to you (or even new to you) together they all paint a pretty realistic picture as to what it takes to become wealthy. If you're looking for something more substantive and down to earth than "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" this would most probably be a good place to start (and taking a gander at "The Richest Man in Babylon" and "The Millionaire Next Door" wouldn't hurt either).

P.S. It would have been nice of the publishers to have included a bit of a blurb on the author which would allow you to guage where he comes from and hence how qualified he is to be dishing out the advice he does. ( )
