One day, Mouse decides to tease big fat cat, saying, "big cat, big cat, catch me if you can," the mouse teased the cat and ran, ran, ran. Each time the cat chased the mouse, the mouse's mother would save him. Until finally, the cat outsmarted the mouse and caught him before he could run home to his mother. With nowhere to run, the mouse decides to tell the cat that he deserves a much better meal than a little mouse. The cat is persuaded and the mouse gets away! ( )

A young mouse teases the cat over and his mother bails him out over and over again but one day the cat catches the little mouse and he must find a way out on his own.

This is a kind of cheesy rhyming book in which an obnoxious little mouse teases the cat and then runs home to his mother. Finally the cat takes a shortcut and beats him home so that he has to describe a feast so delicious that the cat can not resist thinking about it and getting so distracted he lets the mouse go. The mouse has learned his lesson and leaves him alone from then on. ( )
