This is a sweet, gentle, bedtime story that shows the reader various animals going to sleep in their natural habitats. The story uses repetitive words with the words "sleep tight" after each animal. From squirrels to bears, beavers to badgers each animal is going to sleep at night except for the fireflies who shine and the owls who keep watch. The illustrations are sweet, detailed and colourful drawings that take up the full page and will pull the little ones into the story. The mood of the book is tranquil and calming making it a perfect choice for a bedtime read. When you are trying to get your little one to go to sleep, this book is the perfect story to unwind and feel sleepy, in fact after reading Sleep tight over and over, you might be sleepy yourself.
