A book about finding friends and appreciating neurodiversity ( ) This is the story of a young boy with autism and his struggle to make friends. As a teacher, I could see so many of my former students in this book. He struggles with his honesty, his understanding of social situations, and his anger. In the end, he makes a friend who seems to see the world similarly to him. Recommended for early elementary school, K-2. Another book that tackles mental health and disabilities--this time a boy who has autism and is adjusting to school. He longs for a friend. But just the right kind of friend. Nothing earth shattering and honestly, I wish the references to autism were more pronounced. Still, I think this book will be encouraging to many. This book is good for younger elementary age students, I would focus it on kinder or first grade because it is dealing with making friends which happens first in those grades. This book is about Henry making friends and how to make connections with autism. In a classroom this book would be great for allowing students to get some tips and not feel so alone. sem crÃticas | adicionar uma crÃtica
