Ainda não há conversas na Discussão sobre este livro. 3.5 Stars This is the second instalment in The Skulls Renegade MC series and features Daisy and Ollie (Seamus). And got to say so glad I carried on with this series as book two really redeemed this series like totally for me. I found it ever so easy here to get invested emotionally; which for me is a big book must. Where In book one I did struggle slightly relating to our main couple in a personal capacity here with Daisy and Ollie I could practically inhale their intense link. And while super hot this was also incredibly emotive too. I was so glad that Daisy realised and appreciated the jewel she already held with her protective club enforcer and was not just holding out for a past that was dead and buried with Kyle. I loved that she saw beyond the obvious and was fully aware of all Ollie's untapped depths it portrayed a real strength of character. In return, Ollie's protective bubble and extremity of affection for Daisy was off the charts and leapt off the page conveying to me his hearts intent really nicely. For me, This was Redemptions true superpower the pure emotion and believability it managed to convey while still giving us a relatable story. There was still a few teensy things I would like to tweak here but on a whole, this was one that I really did enjoy a lot. It kept my attention without massive plot twists and was generally such an enjoyable experience. In my opinion, this series is one that doesn't really read as standalone's and does need to be read in order to get the most out of it. Each book does feature a couple at its centre but there is an ongoing common theme spread throughout so is really best read in order. Happy to give this one a thumbs up and again so glad I didn't throw the towel in earlier; an interesting second instalment. On a side note, I wanted to mention the blurb here is slightly misleading; I hate love triangles with a passion so this should have been a no-no for me but in my opinion, this is only a triangle in the fact that Kyle still wants Daisy back. Daisy knows who she wants from the onset so for me this didn't really read as a love triangle like at all which I for one was glad about. Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC copy of "Redemption (Skulls Renegade #2)" of which I have reviewed voluntary. Pertence a SérieSkulls Renegade (2)
Daisy is a tough as nails member of Skulls Renegade MC, and she prides herself on pushing past her demons. But she just watched one of her best friends get proposed to, and she can't help but feel something softening inside of her. She has had a rough time of it, coming out of the worst break up possible with Kyle, the old Prez of Skulls Renegade MC, who left her high and dry when she had to pay the price for his screw up with a loan shark. Now, he's back, and he has gotten injured saving the MC from an attack by a Mexican cartel, and it's hard not to see him as someone she cares for again. The problem is, she's been sneaking around with another prominent member of the MC completely undetected and was almost ready to spill the beans. Daisy finds herself locked in the strangest love triangle she can imagine, needing Kyle's presence to heal from what she has done but wanting to keep the other man in her life tearing up her bedroom late at night.
