I've always admired Demi Moore for her movies and I almost forgot about her being on General Hospital (I never watched but my mother did probably at this time) but didn't know much about Demi's life besides them and of course her marriages to Bruce Willis, and Ashton Kutcher and her first marriage which gave her her last name of Moore. It really opened up my eyes to who she really was in real life and not the movies, i.e., growing up, her downfalls with drinking, drugs, her self-body image, her parents. I always liked Bruce Willis but always thought that Ashton Kutcher was a jerk and way too young for her and now I know why. Both Bruce Willis and Ashton cheated on her and the way she found out how Ashton did was why I even hated him more in this book. I admire that after all these years that she and Bruce have been divorced, they remained close because of their daughters, who I enjoyed reading about. There was a lot to inhale in this book and she did it with honesty and integrity. I found it fresh and honest and I admire her even more so now. The book is appropriately titled. sem crÃticas | adicionar uma crÃtica

HTML: 2020 Audie Finalist â?? Narration by Author Famed American actress Demi Moore at last tells her own story in a surprisingly intimate and emotionally charged memoir. For decades, Demi Moore has been synonymous with celebrity. From iconic film roles to high-profile relationships, Moore has never been far from the spotlightâ??or the headlines. Even as Demi was becoming the highest paid actress in Hollywood, however, she was always outrunning her past, just one step ahead of the doubts and insecurities that defined her childhood. Throughout her rise to fame and during some of the most pivotal moments of her life, Demi battled addiction, body image issues, and childhood trauma that would follow her for yearsâ??all while juggling a skyrocketing career and at times negative public perception. As her success grew, Demi found herself questioning if she belonged in Hollywood, if she was a good mother, a good actressâ??and, always, if she was simply good enough. As much as her story is about adversity, it is also about tremendous resilience. In this deeply candid and reflective memoir, Demi pulls back the curtain and opens up about her career and personal lifeâ??laying bare her tumultuous relationship with her mother, her marriages, her struggles balancing stardom with raising a family, and her journey toward open heartedness. Inside Out is a story of survival, success, and surrenderâ??a wrenchingly honest portrayal of one woman's at once ordinary and Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

One of the best things about this memoir is its openness and honesty. I think if you have ever dealt with any of the things Ms. Moore opens-up about that it will connect with you and help you feel like you are not alone. I think the only thing I truly wish for this novel is that it was longer. She gave us so much to digest about her life and experience that once it ended, I was sad.
