I thought that this book was interesting espcially for a kids book. Not to say that I think it’s inappropriate but I do think that some of the jokes are grim to say the least, There are some silly poems in there that I do think many children would enjoy. ( )

This book of poetry and sketches is not a book to sit down and read cover to cover-- but you might! After reading a poem, I find myself reading just one more over and over. The best way to read Shel Silverstein's poems is out loud to a child.

This book contains various silly and humorous poems targeted towards kids. It utilizes a play on words, and will have children thoroughly enjoying language itself. ( )
