I ordered this book for use in my secondary science class. This alternative introduction to various topics in biology will likely engage students who struggle with textbooks. In addition, the text could be modified (by removing some key words to create scaffolded notes) and used as illustrated notes for students to complete during class. This book is a great book that introduces the beginnings of topics that students will start to learn, especially in 7th grade. Talking about subjects such as gene expression, sexual and asexual reproduction, evolution, ecosystems and cell parts. This book takes very difficult subjects, sometimes very confusing for students to understand and creates engaging, simple and clear illustrations that takes biology's most complex concepts and makes them entertaining and easy to grasp. This would be a great book to use in 7th grade biology as a warm-up, additions to worksheets and homework or just to have in class for students to read. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
