I thought this was a great story. I liked that despite it being a middle grade novel, the case was serious (dead body). Since it was a cold case there was not much in terms of violence in the book (my son doesn't like "scary" mysteries). It was handled in a realistic manner and for the most part the kids were not over the top in their investigation and the adults in their lives were present and not oblivious. The characters were well done, I especially like how the character of the mean kid evolved as the reader and the kids in the stories got to know him better. The mystery was also well done. There were twists and turns and enough red herrings to keep me guessing. I would recommend this to kids who like mysteries - those that appreciate The Hardy Boys and Nance Drew. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
