Lyssa Adams knows how to write romance novels that are funny, charming, witty, and romantic.

I love that it is the men in this series that are reading romance novels to help them improve their relationships with the women in their lives.

The characters are relatable, have good chemistry, and are well developed.

Friends to lovers

A sweet friends to lovers romance that had me smiling almost entirely. Noah and Lexa are indeed made for each other and the Bromance club members are a hoot like always. ( )

Alexis and Noah have been best friends for over a year, ever since bonding while they both helped to take down a predator celebrity chef. Everyone around them can see that they're totally in love with each other but neither of them are certain they want to risk their friendship to explore a romantic relationship. When Alexis' biological father emerges in her life with the need for a donor kidney, Noah is even more sure that this is not the time for him and Alexis to move beyond friendship. But when his friends convince him to read one of their bromance book club titles, he'll discover there's some useful insights lurking in there about himself and his relationship with Alexis.

This series continues to be so great. Alexis owns a cat cafe called ToeBeans and has a cat named Beefsteak so I was practically guaranteed to love this one from the start. It doesn't hurt that friends to lovers is one of my favourite romance tropes and Adams does it really well in this book. Both Noah and Alexis grow as characters throughout the book and the steam level when they do get together is just right. It was also lovely to learn in the author's note in this novel that the kidney donation plotline is close to home for Adams as her partner was a kidney donor. Recommended to fans of the series and contemporary romance readers. ( )

I've read and enjoyed every book in this series. And this time I didn't skip the hot scenes!Lol (that's how comfortable i'm getting with this particular series).
It'd be nice if we could get a fourth. There is obviously room for it!

This book had me laughing and crying. I felt so many things for the characters. I can't say that the love story particularly was strong but I just love this group of friends and seeing them always brings a smile to my face. ( )
