The dragonling: Finding a baby dragon accidentally left alive after his older brother's dragonquest, Darek risks death and the anger of his people in trying to return it to the Valley of the Dragons. A dragon in the family: Darek tries to protect his baby dragon from angry villagers and the Circle of Elders. Dragon quest: In order to protect his dragonling Zantor, a mother dragon, and the villagers, Darek must join the dragon quest.
