Solid, and fun to fall in familiar characters, Santa moose was awesome, but Zoey overall was a stronger story ( ) 3.5 to 4??? torn. I needed a break from all my mystery/thriller reads and had a really difficult time finding one. then I remembered that there was a sequel to the quaint town of moose springs. it was an easy read. it wasn’t a page turner but it was cute to circle back to all of the characters from the first book and learn more about Lana in this one. This is the second book I have read in this series and have enjoyed them both. They are light and silly and lots of barriers to the romance are self-created but it is so funny I can overlook all of that. The author really comes up with some hilarious lines that made me laugh out loud. I really love the Alaska setting too. A really fun holiday read that I highly recommend. Lana Montgomery has loved the town of Moose Springs, Alaska since her family brought her there for vacations when she was a kid. Now Lana wants to save the town by building condos that insure that the tourism trade will continue, but many of the locals, like Rick Harding, don't want the tourists in town. In the minds of the locals, the tourists bring nothing but trouble, but Lana is determined to show that she has the town's best interests at heart. To that end, Lana decides that to prove herself, she will need to capture the Christmas decoration destroying menace known as Santa Moose, but it is proving elusive. Meanwhile, Lana and Rick begin a relationship that seems doomed from the start. Mistletoe and Mr. Right is a cute entry in the Moose Springs, Alaska series. The characters are likable and well developed in a book with a fairly simple plot and very little conflict that still delivers an enjoyable story. Even though there isn't much action or drama and the pace is a bit slow at times, there are still enough ideas to keep the story moving until the very end. Overall, Mistletoe and Mr. Right is a gentle romance between two people who are trying to live their best lives. Do you try to listen to your head or your heart? Lana might not be considered a local, but she's certainly spending enough time in Moose Springs! Questioning her motives, Lana must face the truth and ask herself exactly why she's trying to "save" Moose Springs. Friendship. As much as the locals remind Lana that she isn't welcome, she's made real and genuine friendships... and looking Rick's direction doesn't hurt... As flirtation grows, it seems like there is always something to keep them apart - whether it's an intruder or a Santa Moose, or a stuffed squirrel... You'll just have to read this one to see what I'm talking about. The scenes are hilarious. Considering the craziness in my life right now, this was just a joy to listen to on my way to and from work each day. I just love Moose Springs and @SarahMorgenthaler. I love that she brought back some of the characters from the first book, The Tourist Attraction, and made sure to prominently feature some animals with character... I can't say enough good about this one! I have to mention that I listened to the audio (even though I bought the paperback) and loved how the story comes to life and fills my imagination! sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Lana Montgomery is everything the quirky small town of Moose Springs, Alaska can't stand: a rich socialite with dreams of changing things for the better. But Lana's determined to prove that she belongs . . . even if it means trading her stilettos for snow boots and tracking one of the town's hairiest Christmas mysteries: the Santa Moose, an antlered Grinch hell-bent on destroying every bit of holiday cheer (and tinsel) it can sink its teeth into. And really . . . how hard could it be? The last few years have been tough on Rick Harding, and it's not getting any easier now that his dream girl's back in town. When Lana accidentally tranquilizes him instead of the Santa Moose, it's clear she needs help, fast . . . and this could be his chance to finally catch her eye. It's an all-out Christmas war, but if they can nab that darn moose before it destroys the town, Rick and Lana might finally find a place where they both belong . . . together.
