This story, part of the author’s Love By Design series, works as a stand-alone; its focus is the developing relationship between Chase and Winnie. The characters are believable, the situation realistic. However, the story is not particularly deep and does not delve into all aspects of the growing relationship. Winnie changes as the story unfolds, but readers are not privy to the process of her growing out of her self-absorption. Nevertheless, the story is enjoyable and readers are apt to find themselves rooting for Chase and Winnie.

This charming story offers readers a plethora of laugh-out-loud moments, sexy romantic interludes, and the support of good friends. It’s a sweet story sure to please readers who enjoy romantic comedy.
