Ever moved to a city you didn't know, for a guy who wasn't worth it...all because you thought you were in love? Sarah Walker has. I really enjoyed the story of the British girl in Hollywood and her trials and tribulations. Cute from start to finish. (

Sarah moves to LA ahead of her fiancé to set things up, and then he stalls and is soon no longer her fiancé. Stuck in a strange place, she soon meets Taylor, who becomes her new gay best friend. He in turn introduces her to party girl Martika, who moves in to help with the rent and schools her in the club scene. Not my thing, but interesting to read about. (

Sarah Walker sí. hSarah acababa de mudarse a Los Ángeles para ir a vivir con su prometido, Benjamín. Pero él seguía sin decidirse. Al borde de un ataque de nervios, Sarah, que lo que buscaba era estabilidad, decidió cortar con él por lo sano. Y ahora estaba libre como el viento: sin novio, sin trabajo… sin tener ni idea de lo que iba a hacer.

I liked another book I read by her, but with this one, I couldn't decide whether I liked it or not. It feels like one of those chick lit novels written in the day. It's fluffy with an edge, but ultimately, nothing much happens. It's like eating cheap chocolate. You don't want to stop, but it doesn't make you feel good afterwards, and chances are, you instantly forgot all about it anyway. (
