When I read this originally, I was intrigued by the idea of a musician having to choose a lifestyle that reflected his new beliefs. I even had it on a list of books I wanted to buy or find to add to my bookshelf. Since then, I have decided that I don't much care for Davis Bunn's (or T. Davis Bunn as he was known when this book was published) writing style, so I don't know that I would reread this book. But for a while it was considered a favorite. (
