There is a great section in the beginning that walks you through the different kinds of grills and throughout the book are tips on how to best grill the ingredients. Some ingredients might be hard to find, but I mostly found the author provided great alternatives. There were also great tips at the beginning of each recipe and in side-bars about the ingredients and ways to change up the recipe or pair it up with other ingredients.
