There are two reasons that I like this book. The first being that he illustration enhances the story. The pictures are vivid in color and the style of the pictures goes hand and hand with the written text. The second reason that I like this book is that it is written in a way that makes it easy to keep up with what is going on in the story. The story begins with the birth of Bambi. Next it goes into the friendships formed between Bambi, Thumper, and Flower. The story then goes into Bambi growing up and having his own family. The story stated that Feline, who was Bambi’s mate, gave birth to twins. I believe the message of this story teaches that friendship and family is vital for survival. ( )
