I just finished reading Backwater Diva by Steven Becker. This is the ninth book in the Kurt Hunter series about a park ranger in Biscayne Bay National Park. Unusually, this time Kurt is not the person who finds the body within the park. He is called to the murder scene on a luxury yacht moored within the park boundaries. The Miami-Dade police are already on scene but included Kurt in the investigation since the murder occurred in park waters.

A popular celebrity was murdered on board the yacht. This story revolves around the yacht captain, her husband, a celebrity photographer, her security chief, and a backup who would take over the show and tour. The plot has several twists and turns as the focus switches back and forth among the suspects.

It is another enjoyable story in the series. This series is a very good entertainment. ( )
