This was a pretty fun new world but I didn't realize it was actually book 2 in the series. Book 1 apparently came out in 2002 so I guess she decided to pick it up again. I loved the premise of the book but it definitely felt like a "series" book and also felt a little YA to me (with Death being flirty - I mean, really?) but was still entertaining. I will probably read book 1 and look for others in the series. ( ) sem crÃticas | adicionar uma crÃtica

"Melissa Marr has the rare talent of making deeply weird things seem perfectly normal, and making perfectly normal things seem deeply weird."â?? io9 "It's a fast read, spooky enough to please but not too disturbing to read in bed." â??Washington Post "Dark and dreamy. . . . Rod Serling would have loved Graveminder. . . Marr is not tapping into the latest horde of zombie novels, she's created a new kind of undead creature. . . . A creatively creepy gothic tale for grown-ups."â??USA Today "Plan ahead to read this one, because you won't be able to put it down! Haunting, captivating, brilliant!" â??Library Journal (starred review) "Filled with ancient contracts, the walking dead, and fated love, this eerie tale draws you in and leaves you yearning for more."â??Ind Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |
