My favourite one was where the kids were making money to buy ice-cream. That one hit me right in the feels. The characters are too young for a high school library in terms of curriculum levels for assessments, but I think some older students would still enjoy this. A lovely book. Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in Ten Blocks I Picked Up This Book Because: School wide read. Media Type: eBook Source: Scribd Dates Read: 8/30/2022 - 9/30/2022 Stars: DNF - No Rating The Story: I wanted to love this book. I voted for it to be our school wide read because I had recently finished another of Mr Reynolds books and was blown away by it. I unfortunately couldn’t get into it. I failed to keep up with the rest of the school as I was working and had no interest in picking it up in my off time. The Random Thoughts: sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

Jason Reynolds conjures ten tales (one per block) about what happens after the dismissal bell rings, and weaves them into one funny, poignant look at the detours we face on the walk home, and in life. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

This book follows ten different stories, taking place on ten different blocks, about what happens after the dismissal bell rings at the end of the school day. It is ten different stories of the importance of friendship.
This would be a good book to have available in the classroom for students to read as they wish. It is really such a good book and I would really recommend it to any middle schooler.
