This book was fun to read. Nature lovers will especially love it. While it would be a great book for 2nd an 3rd graders, I found it "high-interest" as well, meaning it would also be a good fit for fifth graders who are reading below grade level.Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. If you judge a book by its cover, then you want to grab this funny book. For those who've survived summer camp, students will relate to Bug Blonsky. There are clever situations; crazy characters; and lots of fun in this book. It should really appeal to 3rd-5th graders.Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. Bug Blonsky and His Swamp Scout Survival Guide is about a wiggly seven-year-old nicknamed Bug, who is always getting into trouble. It's similar to the first Bug Blonsky book, except this time Bug is getting into trouble at camp rather than at school. It's easy to read and the illustrations are funny and engaging. My seven-year-old said he liked it and he would read it again, but he didn't like it quite as much as Bug Blonsky and His Very Long List of Don'ts. Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. Perfect for my nine year old nephew. He's very outdoorsy and found the subject of the book interesting and the humor hilarious. I thought it was a cute and easy read with kind of simple illustrations. I would get more from this series for my nephew for sure. Esta crítica foi escrita no âmbito dos Primeiros Críticos do LibraryThing. This was a fun book for kids to read. My 8 year old son has already read it a few times and the younger 4 year old son always requests us to read the book. The humor in the book is age appropriate and we had some good laughs while reading this. My son rated this 4/5. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
At Camp Win-Kee-Noo, you can earn merit patches for "paying attention" and "following directions," but not for any of the things Bug excels at - stuff like armpit farting and being wiggly. As a True Bigfoot Believer, the only patch Bugs wants on his Swamp Scout vest is the Curious Creature patch for spotting an odd or uncommon animal. Know-it-all Abner insists that if Bigfoot were real, he would be listed in the "Terrible Things to Avoid" section of their official Swamp Scout survival guide. Leave it to Bug to write his own guide, jam-packed with tips and tricks for making the most (mischief) out of camp - plus a few startling discoveries.
