It is summer time again and Frannies Fruits is open. A family owns a fruit stand and each family member has jobs to do before everyone arrives to start purchasing food. They have all sorts of veggies and fruits and have regulars that come in everyday. This is a cute book great for a little kid to read on a summer day. ( )

I fell in love with this book as a child. It is one of my very favorite picture books. You can enjoy it over and over and still find new details in the wonderful illustrations. Frannie's Fruits made me feel like I was visiting another season (summer) and another place when I read it. I highly recommend this book to all ages and challenge you to find all of the wonderful details in the illustrations. ( )
