Great for writers work shop or showing how to start a chapter book. This book includes several little stories within about the same characters.

George and Martha Encore is a book containing a few miniature stories within it all about how to be friends in different situations. George and Martha always demonstrate their friendship for eachother, no matter what. I liked this story because it was funny but also heartwarming and would use it in my teaching to discuss friendship in a very basic way. This book it suitable for Grades K-3 and would fit with themes of friendship and helping others.

Through five stories we learn important lessons such as being humble, kind, and open-minded. This book could be used in a classroom from Pre-K to second grade to show children the importance and benefits of a friendship. My attention was captured when I realized that throughout each story one of the hippos made some kind of mistake, but no matter what, they helped each other through it. ( )

This book is a collection of five stories that tell about small events involving George and Martha. George and Martha are very good friends and face what seem to be small trivial arguments. However these arguments can be used to help show children many important lessons such as; being humble, kindness, and being open minded to new ideas. George and Martha both make mistakes but they often help each other through it. The two can show children the importance and benefits of friendship.
