JavaScript is an Internet publishing language which allows all levels of user to create and insert Java applets into their home pages. This book teaches JavaScript using an informal approach and a three-part discussion of the language: an overview shows the reader what can be done; a look at the language itself shows the reader how things are done; and a presentation of real-world examples lets the reader see how to develop their own applets.
