The categories run the gamut from frequent occasions such as birthdays or thank you notes, to the rarer events like retirements and new homes. Each occasion has a page or two of short sentences to help you express your sentiments. This book will not really help you write longer notes, or letters; but it is perfect for adding something personal to a ready-made greeting card. The last 40 or so pages are devoted to space for you to keep track of birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas/ Hanukkah/ Kwanzaa card lists. Without those pages, this would be more of a pamphlet than a book. I would have preferred more content instead of space for lists that I keep on my computer. I like the idea of customizing greeting cards, and I'm sure I'll use the phrases in this book to jump-start my notes. However, if I had leafed through it in a store, I'm not sure I would have bought it. 2 Stars sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica

The book does deliver on its promise to provide "perfect phrases to personalize your greeting cards", but fulfilling that promise makes for a short book. Daniel pads the book by providing "a monthly calendar for names, birthdays, and anniversaries," which isn't why I spent good money on the book. Thirty-seven of its 129 pages are virtually blank.
This space could have been more effectively used by etiquette for each type of greeting card. She also could have a compendium of ways to write the complimentary close. I am chided for always writing "sincerely."
This a useful book that could have easily been made more useful. ( )
