The story of LIbby Watson continues. She has now became Mrs. Galloway and entered into a new life, running a household and keeping up with the sirup season. Then her friends made a pact to see who would end up with the most children. She finds herself unable to have children and her husband forced to leave town in order to find work. Instead of wallowing in her loneliness, she takes in the neighborhood kids and helps a family in need. Once again, Libby leans on her faith and finds God's gift of love and forgiveness more than she ever expected. ( )
