This was a lovely little story about an aunt (Cassie), who is trying to raise 4 adorable children on her own. Wade Dalton is living in the place next door (at the beach), and has come for some solitude after recovering from cancer. Cassie is way younger than Wade, but there is instant attraction when he meets her, and the children quickly grow on him also. I loved the way the author had you reading both Cassie and Wade's thoughts throughout this story. Cassie thought she was too young and unsophisticated for Wade, and Wade thought he was too old and he also had the whole cancer to think about.

I enjoyed these two people and their living at the beach was extra nice. Felt a little like I was on vacation watching these people come to love and care for one another. And the children were adorable. ( )
