If lagomorphs and mustelids did run the railways, it would be pretty terrific. Unlike the authors, though, I'd try to make sure that the rabbits and the stoats worked different shifts. ( )

Terrific Trains is a great picture book, depicting and explaining how trains work and the different kinds of trains there are. I loved all of the great colors and the little animals driving and riding on the trains in the illustrations. An educator could absolutely utilize this picture book for a math section for addition and subtraction using the railroad cars.

Summary:
This book is about trains and all the places they go, as well as the sounds they make. It explains what happens and what different trains carry.

Reflection:
This book would be great with kids who love trains. I like how it explained all the different places it goes, what sounds it makes, and also what each train carries.
