Summary This book is a book that describes dinosaurs to children how big they are or how they have spikes, claws, teeth and long tails. It tells the names of dinosaurs and what they eat. Personal Reaction This book is a must have for young children who love dinosaurs! With its beautiful pictures of dinosaurs and simple ways to describe them and they sleepy element at the end I can truly see why it is my nephews favorite dinosaur book. Classroom extensions I would have the children act like they were dinosaurs and talk about what they would eat, where they would live, what they would look like. Then I would have the children use different supplies in the classroom to make their own dinosaur. Genre: Fiction Audience: Pre k-3 This is a book that can be used to introduce the different types of dinosaurs to young children.
