A selfish wish from a mother, prompts a selfless act from her daughter to free her twelve brothers from a curse. Losing her own children and almost being burned, didn't sway her from her silent vow to help her brothers. Once the curse is lifted and her brothers are saved, Rose is able to get her children back and live happily ever after with her husband, the king. Not a hard story to follow, and would go along well with character building lessons. ( ) Family is very important. That is why when a mother wishes that she could have a girl instead of all twelve of her sons, she is cursed and given what she asked for. This mother's wished cursed her daughter because she now had to alter her life in order to keep her promise of being silent for five years and knit sweaters in order to uplift the curse on her family and to save her brothers. This story teaches about loyalty to family and the unconditional love that is there among family members. For example, no matter what the Step-Mother says about Rose, she keeps quiet and takes what is ever thrown at her. This teaches children that family is important and that it is important to be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. Usually what affects one person in a family will affects other family members around them. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
