It was the first book by this author that I ever read. And it didn't disappoint me. Although in the beginning, it was hard to situate me through whose eyes was I seeing with so many different times narratives and so many characters. To my taste, it lacked a little more romance. The writing is easy to read and the characters are well built. Usually, I don't read this kind of subgenre so it was nice to discover it. Although I predicted the plot twist, I still enjoyed the reading and I'm definitely going to read more of this authoress. ( )
All the pieces don’t quite mesh, but it’s a satisfying read overall, just the thing for readers who like multigenerational sagas with a touch of mystery.

And it didn't disappoint me. Although in the beginning, it was hard to situate me through whose eyes was I seeing with so many different times narratives and so many characters.
To my taste, it lacked a little more romance.
The writing is easy to read and the characters are well built.
Usually, I don't read this kind of subgenre so it was nice to discover it.
