For one, I liked the illustrations because they supported the text. In the story, the main character says he is, “going to make Florette something different. A purple Valentine.” Then, Florette makes him a green Valentine. Throughout the story the only colors used in the illustrations were grey, purple, and green. I thought this was a useful way to exemplify the Valentines made by each character. Also, I liked the plot of the story because it has an interesting plot. While the main character worked on their Valentines for a long time, when it was time to deliver it, Florette forgot it was Valentine’s Day. The main character became upset but Florette explained that she had made her Valentine for him months ago. This shows how even though Florette lost track of the date, she had already put her time into making something for the main character. The big message of The Best Valentine In The World is that it is the thought that counts to show you care about someone. In the story, the characters did not buy each other Valentine Day gifts but instead made them with love. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
Although Ferdinand has worked on his valentine for Florette since November, he's sure that she's forgotten him on Valentine's Day. Não foram encontradas descrições de bibliotecas. |

REVIEW: This is a cute story which the central message is showing love and appreciation for others. Young readers would find this book funny and it has small factual information such as repetition of the date and counting down to February 14th.
