The Africana Worship Book is a resource to help African American church people express their concerns and love for God through worship. This second volume offers new liturgies from the Africana culture with special attention to young adults and the praxis of worship.   The Africana Worship Book, Year B, contains the new calls to worship, liturgies, prayers, litanies, offertory prayers, doxologies, choral readings, creeds, chants and benedictions as we continue to unite Africana worship to present experiences. The compilations are based on Year B of the Revised Common Lectionary, yet are organized by worship elements for ease of use. In addition to growing from a new set of readings, this volume gives special attention to next generation liturgies written with the culture of young adult worshippers in mind, several short dramatic monologues, and sound files on the CD-ROM with demonstrations of several of the worship resources.
