The zoya factor is about a girl named zoya where her family members believe that she is lucky for the cricket game. Whoever she supports that team wins by hook or crook. In this zoya factor thing the world of indian cricket team and the girl zoya solanki's life goes for a roller coaster ride. In between this ride there is romance brewing between zoya and nikhil khoda the indian cricket team captain. Storyline of the book is very good and aas usual the language used by Anuja is really good. Liked the book and would be eager to watch the upcoming movie based on this story. Overall i would says it's a worth reading Goodread... ( )

Adorable. Charming.

Zoya Singh Solanki isn't all that keen on cricket but the Indian cricket team is keen on her. When they realise she was born at the very moment India won the Wold Cup in '83 AND that breakfasting with her brings victory on the field they declare her a lucky charm. Pity the hot cricket captain appears to be a jerk.

I loved this, it's fresh and funny with believable and likable characters. I enjoyed the way she wove in the different languages and only wish I understood more as I'm sure I missed some good jokes. It made me laugh several times, and kept me entertained all the way through. I do think the writing is a little 'young' but as this is Chauhan's first book that only makes me look forward to reading her later works. ( )

Had read more than a year ago, only notable thing was that book was full of awkward ad jingles. ( )

Zoya is a 27 year old normal person working in an Advertisement agency. Like any normal Indian girl, her interests lie more in Bollywood (cine) than in cricket. But she's forced to work with the Indian cricket team. She clashes with the hot Captain from the first instant. Her entire world changes when the team realsies that Zoya is their lucky charm.

This book is superbly written and makes anyone who's reading it smile from the beginning till the end. Captain, Nikhil Kodha makes all the lady readers fall in love with him.

Total Chick-Flick
