This book is a collection of poems. These are short sentences to help children easily learning to read. They also get to know something around tem such as, sun, moon, and stars. As far as they also understand how these things relate to their daily lives, and how things change from day to night.

This is a great collection of poems about the moon, stars,sun, and seasons. The collages that they use to illustrate are just cute and fun. "Until We Built a Cabin" is my favorite. It is about how a child never realized how many stars are there until he/she say them outside a cabin. This is great for children to read in order to appreciate nature. I would read this to my students to teach them about poetry. I would then have them create a poem themselves about anything they love in nature. ( )
