Me gustó, pero se ve que no me termino de atrapar del todo ya que nunca continué con la saga. (

Durante todo el año, los lugareños ahorraban cuanto podían para el dia en que, por unas cuantas monedas, podían adquirir un esclavo altivo, un príncicipe elegido para servir, adiestrado y preparado para la corte, que entonces durante todo el verano debía de obedecer a cualquier humilde sirvienta o mozo de cuadra que pujara lo suficiente en la subasta pública. El jefe de patrulla no podía evitar anticiparse al final del verano e imaginar a estos mismos jóvenes ahora quejosos y forcejeantes, en el momento de ser devueltos, tas concienzudos castigos, con las cabezas inclinadas y las bocas calladas, en la más completa sumisión.

I did read this series, but since the author does not support anonymity for readers (only authors are allowed such luxury, apparently), I am removing my rating. (

In a way this book was better than the first in the trilogy. It was maybe more exciting, but I would have liked there to be more Beaty's point of views than Tristan's. On okay book though and it got better towards the end and now I can't wait to read the next book. (
