These short mysteries are quite interesting. To solve all of them, readers would have to have a wide range of knowledge. Some are easily solved with a bit of thought and common sense. Others, not so much. Still, in reading the solutions, everyone will learn something new. It’s a good entertaining book for kids as well as adults. ( )

Cute little small-profile Scholastic book that i brought on a business trip, mainly because it was small. A whole bunch of little page-and-a-half mysteries to solve, with answers available.....Dr. Haledjian seems to encounter all kinds of horrible things as he goes through his life, but is incredibly insightful at taking facts and deducing truths from them that are not ever obvious.....Nothing too earth-shattering, but i have to admit it was fun. I even kept a tally of how many I figured out.....all but 6....and that is out of 62!!! But I had to think about a few of them.....clever and thoughtful....no regrets! ( )
