This collects Ultimate X-Men 46-57, and introduces Gambit as a mutant hired to entice Rogue to leave the X-Men for a corporation run by mutants, in a storyline that ends with the departure of Rogue and Wolverine from the team. The second storyline is a version of "The Most Dangerous Game", as a small island country launches a broadcasting reality coup by having professional mercenaries hunt down and execute condemned mutants. Naturally, our heroes take exception, although they eventually learn that things are not always as they assume, and you should never judge a mutant by his cover. Good stories, with artwork to match.
