Zainey is a very short student who is always picked on and has trouble seeing over other people in crowds. He sees an add in a magazine about a company that is selling off body parts and decides to send away for an eye that he can attach to his finger and then (if he holds his hand up) he'll be able to see better. His mate Dan is sure that Zainey will be ripped off, so when a package arrives, he is stunned. Sure enough, inside is an eye and that's where the fun begins!
Not for the squeamish this one, as despite the cute cover, this book has a lot of blood in it! (The eye is trying to tap into a host's nerves so heaven help you if you hurt yourself on the football field.) I particuarly liked the funny end with the kids in class and their teacher.[ Think eyes in the back of your head!]
