The story moves at a steady pace with attention to detail , engaging and well developed characters. Suspense filled, with a few twists that caught me off guard. I enjoyed The Innocent and highly recommend to those who enjoy thrilling suspense. ( )
Another good thriller. Lots of layers. Involves women made to perform in strip clubs, man who went to prison for accidentally killing someone and prostitution of underage girls.

Like all Coben's protagonists, (including the hero of his popular series starring sports agent turned detective Myron Bolitar) Hunter is a nice, middle-class New Jersey boy who's still the innocent of the title, despite the miscarriage of justice that sent him to prison.
