Whether a child's parents are leaving them for the night, or a child is anxious about school, this book can help show the child that everything will be okay. I thought the plot of this story was very interesting. The ideas the babysitter used were extremely clever to getting Hopscotch to come out of his hiding place. Overall, this was a cute, fun book that that I would recommend. If you're a babysitter and need to break the ice with the children you are watching, then this could be a potentially great story for just that! It has just how children feel sometimes when parents leave for a evening out. My kids still feel it when their daddy and I go out for an evening and they are 11, 10, and 6! Perfect examples of how to distract a child from thinking about their parents being gone for evening. Generally a good read I believe for even Pre-K children who are having a hard time separating from parents when they are brought to school. This book tells the tale of Hopscotch the bunny. Hopscotch does not like having a babysitter when his parents are gone so he hides in his "NO BABYSITTERS ALLOWED" fort, until he realizes that his babysitter Mrs. Honeybunch is reading his books the wrong way. He finally works up enough courage to help Mrs. Honeybunch. This book is a cute story for students to read independently in middle to upper elementary. sem críticas | adicionar uma crítica
